Precise furnace temperature profiles are a prerequisite for high-quality products and their reproducible manufacture. With the "TS04" series, PhoenixTM will be presenting a measuring system at AEE 2019 that can be used to easily monitor temperature data in coating processes. The system consists of a data logger, a heat protection container and the "ThermalView-Finishing" software.

Industrial furnaces are equipped with sensors. Often several of these sensors are present. But how can you determine what is really happening on and inside the product? The "Finishing System TS04" is a complete solution for monitoring temperature data, especially in coating processes. The flexible system records the temperature data of the product during the oven run and is located directly on the product. During preparation, the body is fitted with thermocouples at relevant points and the data is stored in the data logger. This is protected by a heat protection container. At the end of the process, the data logger is read out. With the help of the "ThermalView-Finishing" software, the raw data can be converted into meaningful process data with which fast and well-founded decisions can be made to solve burn-in problems. The measurement results can be used, for example, for process or product optimization, customer audits, reducing operating costs, saving resources and much more. With the optional radio telemetry upgrade, it is possible to receive the determined data in real time. This eliminates the waiting time, and the furnace control system can intervene directly in the running process and the effects can be analyzed immediately.
