Press releases about AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING EXPO
The AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING EXPO and accompanying AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING CONGRESS brought two successful days to a close on 31 May 2017. “We are more than satisfied with the evolution of the AEE,” say the organisers, Vincentz Network and NürnbergMesse. “With 97 exhibitors (2015: 69), a 20 percent increase in the exhibition area and 1,202 trade visitors (2015: 1,022), the third trade fair in this series proved that it has an established position in the industry. The AEE is the only platform that covers the car body process chain with the necessary professional depth – and this approach is proving a success.”
The AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING EXPO presented the AEE Innovation Award for the first time today. The candidates at the trade fair were 15 outstanding innovations by exhibitors that have adopted a multidisciplinary approach to the car body process chain. The prizes were presented by Franziska Moennig, Executive Director Presidium Automotive Circle, Prof. Christoph Wagener, Head of Research and Product Development at Kirchhoff Automotive, and Dr. Thomas Rudlaff, Rohbau Mercedes Benz Cars Daimler AG. The winners were determined by a vote by the AEE OEM and Suppliers’ Board, and also the trade visitors and congress participants in equal measure.
The third AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING EXPO will be held on 30-31 May 2017 at the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg. 97 exhibitors at this unique meeting point for the industry will display future-oriented solutions covering the entire process chain, from concept to final assembly. “The AEE is based on a winning, sustainable plan and its development has been outstanding. It will have both more exhibitors and more space in 2017. The great acceptance underlines the position of the event in the industry in its third year,” say organizers Automotive Circle and NürnbergMesse. The accompanying AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING CONGRESS gives industry players deep insights into current developments.
The AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING EXPO 2017 looks set for success. Already, two months before its third round, the exhibition is reporting an increase in exhibitors of around 30 percent. They include renowned industry players like Benteler Automotive, Keyence Germany, Schuler Automation, FANUC Germany, EDAG, Gestamp, Evonik Industries, SIKA Automotive, Aleris Switzerland and Kirchhoff. On 30 and 31 May 2017, this globally unique industry gathering at Exhibition Centre Nuremberg will once again showcase the latest trends in car body construction, painting and assembly along the entire process chain. The concurrent AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING CONGRESS will present pioneering developments and practical solutions for the design, parts manufacture, construction and painting of series-produced cars and their subsequent final assembly. The entire congress programme can be downloaded from www.automotive-engineering-expo.com/de/events.
The AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING EXPO will present the AEE Innovation Award for the first time in 2017. The trade fair, which will take place in Nuremberg for the third time on 30 and 31 May 2017, is the only industry gathering worldwide to focus on car body construction along the entire process chain from concept to final assembly. The AEE Innovation Award is designed to recognise innovations by exhibitors that pursue a multi-disciplinary approach in the car body construction process chain.
